Artist Statement
Like different music, different paintings can have distinctive impacts. You may like the piece to be the focal point of the room because of the attractiveness of its colors and movements. Or you just like to travel emotionally to the places this piece takes you when you silently gaze at it. Or you just happen to know the story that inspired the artist and you feel related. There could be many reasons you enjoy a painting, but they all have a common factor, the connection with your own feelings, your own emotions, your own taste. And for many artists, this is when her/his Art comes to life, when it finds that connection with other people.
I have this idea that all Art lovers are also artists deep down. And that is the starting point needed to become an artist. We all start by observing, admiring and learning from the art created by others. But then some feel this internal impulse like a strong urge to create, to express emotions, ideas and beauty. Once you let your imagination fly, once you free those impulses by putting them on a canvas, or on paper, or a wall, or through sculptures or whatever medium you choose, you have become an artist.
My goal as an artist is to always keep creating. My deepest wish is to see my art come to life.
